# TINU

TINU follows the value of UNIT, which represents **the principal part of the crypto market**. It creates a currency utility on top of UNIT, giving the unit of account UNIT the power of a cryptographic token.

As a result, crypto participants can go **long** by holding TINU and **short** the entire crypto market **for the first time** by borrowing it and selling it. Now, we can easily and efficiently make decisions on the entire value of the market **by only using TINU**.

The following articles describe how TINU is **collateralized, minted, and burned**.
